Maximillion sat in his car, his precious midnight blue corvette, with his eyes closed and leaning back in the front seat. It was lunch time, and since he didn’t eat, there was no point in wasting food by getting a lunch that he wasn’t even going to eat. Music thrummed lightly through the car, keys in the ignition but the car not actually running. ‘Give me a shot to remember, and you can take all the pain away from me; a kiss and I will surrender; the sharpest lives are the deadliest to lead. A light to burn all the empires, so bright the sun is ashamed to rise and be. In love with all of these vampires; so you can leave like the sane abandoned me.’
He smirked folding his arms behind his head and slowly opening his golden eyes to stare blankly at the ceiling, not even noticing that there were a few strands of onyx black hair blocking his vision. It happened daily, so after about twenty five years you get used to it; by fifty you no longer notice it in the least. Today had been one of Maxi’s bad days, and his concentration couldn’t stay on what he wanted it to, instead shifting to all the different smells of blood around him. He had to get out of there and calm himself down before he could go back in there, otherwise he’d lunge at someone and do something he’d regret.

Alice was in Edward's car, and it was lunch period. She didnt feel like pretending to eat today, so she sat their, listening to her pop music, when suddenly she noticed someone. It was Maxi? Was that his name? She got out of the car, and was suddenly there, and knocked on his window hyperly, while smiling. She was bored, and she felt talkative, so here she was, begging to talk. She looked through the window at the boy, and waved.

Maxi turned his head to see Alice knocking on his window, and he suddenly had a fear that she was going to break the window on his car, which he really didn’t feel like having to ask Rosalie to fix. He opened the door of the car, looking at Alice curiously. “Hello Alice, why are you trying to break my window?” he asked, arching an eyebrow in curiosity before smirking. He leaned back into the car for a second and turned the volume down on the car’s stereo until it was virtually nonexistent, and turned his full attention back to Alice, motioning for her to talk. He had nothing better to do, and she seemed near the point that she was going to start begging soon. He was tempted to say ‘I’ll talk, just don’t damage my car,’ but he decided that she’d probably get mad at him for that, and he wasn’t going to test his luck. After all, his luck was usually horrible.

Alice smiled big, and waved her hand at the door, she wasnt going to just stand there! She was suddenly in the passenger's seat, smiling. "Why are you out here? Why arent you in the lunchroom? Why--" Alice had to stop her self, or she soon would be talking way too fast, and ask too many questions.

Maxi looked into the passenger’s seat, not surprised to see Alice already sitting there, and closed his door, seeing no need to keep it opened. He rolled his eyes at Alice’s torrent of questions, and he was thankful that she stopped herself. “I’m out here because I don’t feel like eating and today is a particularly annoying day where I can’t concentrate on anything but the smell of blood.” He mumbled his response, averting his gaze to look out the window at the school doors rather than at the pixie in the seat next to him. Her mood was infectious, and he couldn’t help the small smile forming on his lips, even when he didn’t look at her, the mood still spread throughout the car like air conditioning or heat would.

Alice smiled bigger, seeing the smile on his face. "Oh, that? Makes sense. So, how are you?" Alice asked, trying to slow down. There was no hurry. She sighed, out of habbit, she didnt technically need to breathe. She bobbed her head from side to side, in pure happiness.

“Aside from what I just told you, good I guess. No one in my family knows I’m back yet; apparently none of them came to school today, or at least none of them I have classes with.” Maxi shrugged, noticing yet again that her happiness was infectious. He couldn’t help it, his bad mood was suddenly lifted, though he couldn’t help but wonder where everyone in his family was, considering it wasn’t a sunny day or anything. They should be here. He hadn’t seen Lexi at all, and that bothered him a little, and the same went for Rorie. He glanced over at Alice, a questioning glint in his eyes pretty much asking her if she knew where his ‘little sisters’ were, though he doubted that she did, considering she wasn’t the one who could read their minds and see what they’d been planning yesterday. Where was Edward when you needed him? The one and only time you need him, and he ain’t there.

Kris drove into the parking lot at school, and noticed the midnight blue corvette. 'Hey, I know that car' kris thought to herself as she parked next to him in her red viper. "Hey I didn't know you were back" she grumbled as she stepped out of her car and the blaring music turned off. "so what's new with you?" she asked with a somewhat fake interested expression on her face. "Oh, hi Alice!" she added happily when she noticed the black haired vampire sitting in her 'brother's' passenger's seat.

Alice smiled widely, and waved. "Hi!" she said. She looked back at Maxi. "And, no, I dont know where you're 'little sisters' are at, and I havent seen youre family in a while. Plus, I havent seen anything for awhile now, not that I am looking, or anything." She said, noticing the questioning look. She smiled, knowing her good mood was dominant over his bad one.

Maxi let out a sigh mixed with a growl- completely ignoring his sister. The sigh because her overwhelming good mood was addictive and spreading through him- not to the point he would listen to happy music or go skipping through the halls or anything crazy like that- and the growl because his over-protectiveness was emerging, taking over his mind. He had never had siblings when he was human, but he had had a girlfriend that he cared for deeply. The last part of his human life that he remembered included himself, his girlfriend, a robber, and a gun pointed at his love. He visibly shuddered at the memory, shaking his head to clear his thoughts, his onyx black hair settling back as it had been as if the action had never occurred. “So you haven’t had any visions lately? That’s odd… don’t you usually have at least a few small ones every couple of days?” He found that a little troubling, considering the fact that- from what he’d heard- Alice had visions fairly often, though never really on something in particular unless she was looking for it.

Alice's face dropped. "No, I have felt very distracted lately. Not as, I dont know, what Edward and others might call energetic. Today is a happy day. Very good day."Alice said, troubling herself. It was odd. She usually had visions of alot of things.

"Sure ignore me...." Kris said to herself in a low voice. "Don't even think about asking me I'm sworn to secrecy" Kris said slyly she enjoyed watching him go crazy trying to figure out what they were doing. 'Actually I have no idea what they're doing but he doesn't have to know that she thought to herself almost laughing.
