"Good. I've enjoyed a cougar or two myself, but if you drank human blood, we'd have a problem." His eyes darkened to green, all traces of blue gone. He sighed, then shook himself, his eyes returning to normal. "So I can't hang here. Eh... crap." He turned to Kira. "Maybe you have an idea? Oh, my name is Luke Smith." He picked up his Cherry Coke and sipped it, putting on a show of being completely at ease. Inside, though, he was waiting to see if his last name rung any bells.

Erica stared at him for a moment, annalysing his emotions. He seemed calm enough, so she decided that this would go well....well, as well enough as two werewolves and a vampire hanging out could go. Erica smiled slightly at Luke then looked over to Kira wondering what they...or she should do now. Erica knew that she was doing every thing wrong in the first place, but she decided to ignore the truce and do what she thought was right at that time. "Well...." she said with bordom in her voice. It didnt seem like either of the wolves really wanted to talk much but Erica did....she actually wanted more amusement than just two calm wolves that barely spoke. She knew that having a raged wolf was dangerous but she felt skilled enough that she could possibly handle it without humans getting injured. Erica smiled mischievously at the two boys. "So where do you come from Luke? And as for a place to stay, in La Push possibly but not in Forks. Your a wolf so your in danger of being attacked here." she said with a hellish smile.

Luke raised an eyebrow at her smile, then responded, "Here, La Push, anywhere's fine. I'm not looking for a fight. At least, not a fight with random people. There's a few I'd have to go at it with. As for where I come from..." He paused, then decided to answer truthfully. "Portstown, Virginia. Know any vamps that were in the region a few weeks ago?"

Kira gave a slight nod, it wasn't to anyone, but just because things were going better then he pictured. "folks isn't your element, theres cults of vampires here. La Push is filled with wolves, much safer, and a short walk if you feel like raiseing hell; because truefully i dont give a dam what you do, just when you do it." He looked over to Erica; maybe that wasn't the best choice of words.

Erica laughed slightly at Kira's wording. She understood what he ment and agreed with him, especially since he was on her turf. Erica grinned. "So..." she said wondering what to say next. She glanced at the coke he was drinking and hoped that he'd finish up soon so that she could escort him...and Kira back to the border hopefully without any trouble. Erica sighed, relaxing a bit more and leaned over the table, resting her chin in her hand. "Well, Luke. How come you came to Forks? Of all the places you could find a home...why here?" she asked finding nothing special about the towns infested with imprtals. Erica looked at Like then at Kira with her golden eyes that seemed like little crystals under the restaurants dim lights. There wasnt much resembalance between the two, besides the fact that they were both starving. Erica had always thoght that werewolves looked simular. Ugly, mangy looking oversized human-mutts, but then again, she usually was proved to be wrong.

"Well," he said after finishing off his Coke, "it was more of a gut feeling that led me here. I knew Alaska was nice wilderness, and when I got here, I dreamed of my heritage. So, I guess you could say I came to find myself. As for when," he stood, his back cracking as he came to his full height, "if you don't mind, now would be a good time. If this is vamp territory, I don't really wanna hang around too much. I'm in no shape to start busting heads and asking my questions yet."

Erica nodded as she gave him a weak smile and stood up behind Kira. She looked at him with confusion in her gold-eyes. "Whadda ya mean? Are you a vampire hater too?" she asked as nudged kira with her hip and smiled teasilgly. Erica shoved her hand into her pocket and pulled out the money that she'd use to pay for Kira's steak. She walked over to the pay-till and put down the money for his meal. "Table four," she said as she pointed to it then walked away, back to Kira and Luke. "Are we off or what?" she asked before pulling her hood up over her head so that if she was seen, maybe she wouldnt be noticed....which was very unlikely but worth a shot. Erica glanced over at the door then put her hand on the back of kira's chair and leaned on it, waiting. She sighed as she watched the waiter clean off their table and eye them every once and a while, probably also waiting for them to leave.

Luke didn't take it as a joke. "I hate very few beings. That group is limited to those who consume human blood, or victimize those weaker than themselves. That is it." He paused to let his words sink in, then responded, "Yes, I'm ready. Let's go." He followed after.

Kira stood up. "i hate anything that has the intent of hating me, other then that I'm alright with just about anything" He looked over at Luke, "when we get to la push "the pack" likes to be the big dogs, do what you want but its fair warning" he wandered offer to the store part of the cafe, maybe it was just habit, or maybe it just picked out that there were no cameo's and the only casher was busy; but he thought it'd be a good idea to take something. He was about to grabs a few things but remembers that getting caught could be big trouble; so he just walked out and waited.

Luke followed after Kira, checking over his shoulder for Erica. He noticed Kira's appraisal of the shop and snickered. Quite honestly, that amused him. He would have done the same thing if he wasn't full.

Erica followed Luke out of the restaurant and stood beside Kira. "Kay, C'mon. Ill take you two back to your side of the border." she said as she put her hands back into her pockets and walked down the same sidewalk as they had come up. Erica guided the way, eyeing the two boys to make sure that they were following her. Erica felt relief wash over her as she was headed for the border. Now at least she'd be safe and wouldnt be caught. The cool breeze felt good on her face as the sun was covered up by a big grey fluffy cloud. Erica raised her head towards the sky and sighed, inhaling the scents of the forest as they grew nearer and nearer to it.
